Hani Findaky is a true marvel. He grew up in Iraq, attended Baghdad University, then MIT, became a Young Professional at the World Bank, ended up Running the World Bank's Global Portfolio, and then proceeded to work on at a Who's Who of Wall Street Firms followed by positions on the boards of top academic institutions, including Beijing University and the American University of Sharjah.

Dr. Findakly is an investment banker who has served as Chief Investment Officer of the Workd Bank Group. He has also served in senior positions on Wall Street, including Vice Chairman, Clinton Group; Chairman, Dillion Read Management; CEO, Potomac Babson, Managing Director, Paine Webber Inc.; Senior Vice President and Head of Global Markets, Drexel Burnham Lambert. Prior to WallStreet, Dr. Findakly served on the faculty of MIT and the Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Dr. Findakly serves on several corporate and academic boards, including as a Trustee of the Americacan University of Sharjah and as a member of the International Board of Peking University and the Beijing Forum. He has served, inter alia, on the boards of the Middle East Institute, the US Department of State Advisory Committee on International Finance, along with several corporate boards in the US and Middle East. Currently, he is an advisor to the Ministry of Investment in Saudi Arabia. A graduate of Baghdad university with a B.Sc., Summa cum Laude, in Civil Engineering, he received his Master of Science, (SM) in operations research and Doctor of Science (ScD) in decision theory from MIT. A lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations, he is a recipient of several academic and research honors, he is a recipient of the 2009 Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
