Usually, I’m the one asking the questions. But Jonathan thought it would be fun to turn the tables and ask me to discuss my academic career and some of my work.

I’m delighted he asked, even though I was a bit puzzled by the invitation. Usually such conversations occur at the end of an academic’s career. Mine is just starting. After all, I’m not even old enough to be President.

After watching the interview, I realized I didn’t have time to discuss many papers I love let alone properly acknowledge scores of fantastic co-authors. They are all listed at kotlikoff.net.
