This episode of Economics Matters — the Podcast is a conversation with Terry Savage about our new book, Social Security Horror Stories — Protect Yourself from the System and Avoid Clawbacks.
Yesterday (11/5/2023), Anderson Cooper interviewed Terry and myself on 60 Minutes together with three of Social Security’s 1 million annual clawback victims. Here’s the 60 Minutes link. And here’s a link to the 60 Minutes Overtime coverage that provides more details concerning Social Security’s truly horrific financial abuse.
Both segments point out that my company’s maximizemysocialsecurity.com provides the means — I believe the only means — to check that the benefits you are now receiving or are told you will collect are, indeed, correct. They could be larger that what you’re owed, in which case you are at risk of being clawed back down the road — for potentially tens of thousands of dollars. (We’ve seen one clawback for $310,000!). Or they could be smaller that what you’re owed, in which case you need to head back to Social Security and get what’s yours.
60 Minutes also highlighted our new book. It provides a full exposé of the system’s terrible financial abuse, which includes not just horrific clawbacks, but also the system’s systematic financial scams. The book is a must-read guide for avoiding your own Social Security horror story. “Must” read is not hyperbole. Unfortunately,
We Are All a Prospective Victim of Social Security Financial Abuse!
