The fast destruction of the US democracy and institutions by the Trump administration in his second term is quite breathtaking also.
The parallels to the destruction of the Weimarer Republic are very scary.
Personally, I can only hope that your courts can give you time enough to regain the majority in congress but make no mistake the Trump administration gives a f… about democracy, congress, courts or whatsoever and they will do whatever they can to destroy your judicial system as a whole.
And motivate the Democrats to fight back full force, metaphorically spoken. They have to do it and it will be tough, very tough.
The Trump administration will come up with every sh… you can think of, including trying to incarcerate people to shut them off.
What they did with these Venezuelans speaks volumes, deporting them to El Salvador to concentration camps without due process and any info on what these people have really done.
