Larry, I like your writing, and I will be a MaxiFi customer soon, but your angst over the polls looks misplaced:
*Trump is only-getting 60-70% of Red primary votes; Biden is getting north of 90%. Exit polling at primaries (so far) showing ~30% of Haley voters saying they will not vote for Trump in the general election. Trump needs to gain voters, not lose them, but Biden appears to have much greater in-party support.
*Pro-choice initiatives are driving mass voter turnout in multiple swing states, with Blue voters winning each time.
*if any of Trump’s criminal trials begin before the election, they are much-more likely to hurt than help him.
*voters rarely-change. Most Blue voters in 2020 will be Blue voters in 2024. The obvious exceptions are A) Those who died, of which more are likely Red voters; and B) New voters, who would seem more-likely to be Blue voters.
Yes, the polls are a little-scary. Millions of Americans are fear-texting once a week, worrying that the end of the world is near. But this election, like (probably) all of them, looks-like it will be won on the margins, in a few swing states. Trump isn’t exactly expanding his tent; if anything, he’s shrunk it. And while we all know how dumb John Q Public can be, he got this one right last time, and he’ll probably get it right this time.
Well, he's done it again. Hungary just signed on to Sweden's joining NATO. That's 32 countries in NATO..a record. Putin has been the best recruiter...by far... for that organization of Unity for each other.
Your analysis is correct, Larry, thanks. But, I see you and your good friend as asking for funding to Haley to help her in a No Labels campaign against Joe Biden....and not to protect us from Trump. Ambassador Haley as a No Labels candidate would help Trump more than Biden no doubt. President Biden is a walking encyclopedia of gov't knowledge and is my choice.
