Hi Bruce, If inflation takes off again, TIPS will be insulated. Will the real yield on TIPS stay high or go higher. Quite possibly. Fiscal dominance is a new word for nothing new. Making money to make money is as old as the hills when it comes to fiscal finances. best and happy NY! Larry

If our out-of-control fiscal deficits and excessive national debt lead to fiscal dominance (https://research.stlouisfed.org/publications/review/2023/06/02/fiscal-dominance-and-the-return-of-zero-interest-bank-reserve-requirements), will CPI-U and TIPS still keep up with real inflation?
