I fail to see how correcting a wrong would cause the Supreme Court to rue the day. Thousands of lawsuits would force change on a huge bureaucracy that lost its way in serving the people. An agency that has been known to just hang up the phone on people should be held to account. Finally the pendulum is swinging the other way.
700 dollars a day to pay for a government regulator on your boat is hardly a "modest sum." Big businesses might be able to afford such, but the small guy is put out of business.
