In what way? Steve dropped out and we've see No Labels do nothing but say they may do something. Hell is freezing over in the meantime. best, Joe, Larry
That was my reply to Bill Rodewald's 2 posts. I appreciate the introduction of the No Labels party into the fray but I question the timing and the sincerity of their intent. Most likely, they are predominantly disaffected republicans which is fine. However, they are part of the problem.....they prefer traditional conservatism but aren't willing to fight for it on the current republican playing field. I know the NL initiative has existed for over a decade. Finally, I feel they could likely decide the race in a negative way. Thanks.
Never dismiss a wannabe dictator. That's a mistake no one should make, especially patriots. Trump has brought this issue of "himself" and we're supposed to pretend he doesn't exist ? He is out there everyday grifting for $$$$..... for his 2nd term like none other...revenge and retribution.
Trump has said he would abolish the U.S. Constitution. Trump has said he would be a dictator on Day 1 if he is returned to the Oval. Are you really OK with these statements ? Who do you pledge The Pledge of Allegiance to ?
Google "trump's abolish the constitution comment". There are a dozen citations to read. One of them is Chris Christie's mention of that comment during a debate a while back.
Chris Christie, exercising his freedom of speech, can say "anyone" said "anything".
Citations are not Trump speaking his words, rather someone else putting words in his mouth. Until you provide a video of Trump saying, "I will abolish the Constitution", it's just more fake news.
I think you are too decent of a person to turn into a politician.....as the narrative would go. Thanks for this forum and all of your professional contributions. Have a nice weekend.
Honestly, it is truly amazing how a disparaged former President is in a major race to be the leader of the free world, when you reread Mr Kotlikoff's description of Trump. This election is no game and no time to be nonchalant, negligent, or petty in approaching our democratic right to vote in a free and fair election. If we are not careful......we won't have another chance to do that again.
I look forward to reading the No Labels platform, at a minimum. More so, I need a comprehensive look back, i.e. a side by side by side presentation of many of the issues we experienced over the last 8 years along side how the Dems and Repubs. presented themselves. How would have No Labels approached each.
I am a senior Swiftie but I prefer her operating more on the fringes. I don't think she is quite the activist that you insinuate..... but, no doubt she wants to be beneficial....besides doing her work. Go Chiefs !!
Hi Laura, What do you think of Trump, really, down deep. Leave Biden aside. Just Trump as a person. Just curious. best, Lary
This is very much your thread, Larry, but if Laura replied I, too, wonder her thoughts on that.
But I am willing to just move on. Thanks,
Joe
: ) Joe, Larry
Hi Laura, Ok, with you on real quotes. But what do you really think of Trump? Would you let your daughter be in a room alone with him? best, Larry
Thanks, Joe! Larry

What spot?
I had to "hold my nose" while I renewed my Maxifi subscription, because of posts like this one. With all due respect, get over your TDS (Trump
Derangement Syndrome). Every else is.

"Trump has said he would abolish the U.S. Constitution" ... please provide proof??

I'll run too. We have the same zero chance.
Looking good for 73 Larry...
Trump referred to Nicki Haley when he meant to refer to Nancy Pelosi.
You really need to look up who is behind “no labels” and it’s not anyone on the left.

Larry, your name recognition is decent but not spectacular. Needs a jump start. So...
Students will help. A campus in winter would be great. This time of year is dark, getting lighter.
How about Cornell University? Ithaca can be depressing in January and February. Dark. Cold.
Why not ask Taylor Swift to give a concert on campus? She’s politically minded and she speaks out. She loves students.
She’s a talented liberal activist singer and entrepreneur and a stunning entertainer. Students do love her. Many do. All love her.
Your equally brilliant, equally handsome twin brother should ask you and Taylor Swift to visit Cornell University at Ithaca.
He’s a leader at Cornell. He could start a movement to bring politics back to campuses. Why not? Address midwinter blues!
Invite Taylor Swift to sing, to speak to students and faculty on campus.
Take over a hall or the football stadium with the campus student band to warm up the crowd.
Your campaign needs a jump start.
If the chemistry is good, if the event is packed, Cornell wins,
Think! Taylor Swift’s fame showers an Ivy League, and a campaign is kick started.
Other campaigns could move to campuses all over. Voting would soar. Democracy would win!!
Other candidates, other singers, other campuses!!
Debates might inspire students to run.
Campus leaders could bask in reflected glory nationwide!
All candidates would come to campuses. Singers would love it.
Taylor Swift is a leader. Ask her!
Taylor Swift is young. Candidates of all ages could follow the Kotlikoff-Swift example.
Kotlikoff and Kotlikoff with Taylor Swift ... will put you - and Cornell - on the track - to name recognition.
Democracy needs a boost. Go for it.
