Hi Christian, Not sure what attracts you to Trump, but your call obviously. My guess is he'll be in jail come election time. But, who knows. Why not focus on a candidate without obvious flaws -- Steve Laffey at stevelaffey.com.

Well, it's early and Trump will be indicted three ways to Sunday shortly and he got his ass kicked last time and Biden has handled things, in general, well, and there are some reasonable Republicans who may give him a run for his money. We'll see!

Jeez! The only thing I agree with in this Substack is that the audience was stacked. If the interviewer had been better, there wouldn’t be so much crying over this. All the truth bombs he dropped were devastating to the left- on live TV no less.

Well I am not a republican I am with trump never play in the sand box with an enemy that does want to take you down. I most certainly separated myself from the democratic party after 50 years. As I no longer recognize it anymore. I have come to fall in line with the old school beliefs of the Federalist Party as this is a federal nation with federal concepts and principles. Like everyone is a true sovereign ye are all kKngs and Queens and the creatures of law are simple servant's of the people and the governmental of laws and the governmental machinery. Anything other is treason sedition and insurrection upon the government of laws and the governmental machinery and the true sovereigns it is to serve

The reality is that Trump, regardless of what we think of him, is leading Biden in the polls. The real question is what does that say about the Democratic party and what it is offering to voters?

If DeSantis, with the entire right wing media arm behind him, could not get Trump off of the mind of the majority of Republican voters then is liberals calling him shameful going to do it now? There is something that we are all missing on why these voters find Trump attractive and it is clear that calling him names or pointing out his lack of personal ethics or even basic knowledge about our economy is ever going to matter to these people.

Oof... I would not vote for Trump and find him a despicable sociopath who should be laughed off of the public square, but not hosting an interview with the likely Republican nominee and former President of the US because of some kind of pearl-clutching or whatever is weak. It would be hard to disagree more with this post as much as I'd love to see Trump run out of society on a rail.
